Our Values

Community-Led Education

At UJWALA ABYASA FOUNDATION, we believe that education should be community-led and responsive to local needs. In rural areas of Karnataka, we worked with village councils to develop customized education plans, incorporating local language and cultural practices. For example, in a tribal community, we supported the development of a curriculum that included traditional folk tales and songs, leading to a 25% increase in student engagement.

Inclusive Education

We strive to make education inclusive and accessible for all. In Karnataka, we worked with schools to develop accessible infrastructure and trained teachers to support children with disabilities. As a result, 30 schools became accessible, and 100 teachers were trained, benefiting 500 children with disabilities.

Digital Literacy

In today's digital age, digital literacy is crucial. UJWALA ABYASA FOUNDATION introduced digital literacy programs in India, focusing on basic computer skills and online safety. Over 1,000 youth benefited, with 50% securing jobs or starting their own businesses within a year.

Vocational Training

To address unemployment, UJWALA ABYASA FOUNDATION offers vocational training programs in India. We partnered with local industries to provide training in skills like tailoring, electrical work, and beauty services. Over 500 youth were trained, with 80% securing employment or starting their own businesses.

Parent Engagement

We believe that parents play a vital role in their children's education. UJWALA ABYASA FOUNDATION organized parent-teacher meetings and workshops in India, encouraging parents to take an active interest in their children's learning. This resulted in a 30% increase in parental involvement and a 20% increase in student learning outcomes.

UJWALA ABYASA FOUNDATION was founded in India, Karnataka with a mission to provide quality education to marginalized communities. Our founders, led by PANNAGADEV NELAVAGILU TEJASWINI, brought together a team of passionate educators and community leaders to launch our first program.
